Han, Jenny. The Complete Summer I Turned Pretty Trilogy. Simon & Schuster BFYR, 2010. I chose this genre because belly could show more of her emotions and how she was feeling. In the book she says how she is feeling but I wanted to go more in depth. I also added her finding the necklace because that is an important event in the book. Her finding the necklace gave her hope. It gave her a push that she didn't need. Conrad was in a relationship and so was Belly. Immediately when Belly found the necklace she thought of the her 13th birthday when Conrad couldn't stop talking about infinity. He also told her that infinity has two meanings. One being that numbers never end and the other being everlasting love. Belly doesn't know how to react or what to think. She doesn't know if she should confront Conrad or if she should leave it alone.

Today was hectic. When I woke up I realized that it was my birthday. I was finally 16 years old. Once I finally got out of bed I searched for the perfect birthday outfit. Once I finished getting ready I headed down stairs to the kitchen. I would say I was surprised to see my mom making pancakes, but she does it every year. After breakfast everyone headed to the living room. Once we were all in there we went straight to opening gifts. Susannah gave me her moms old charm bracelet that had been past down for many generations, Jeremiah got me a charm to go on the bracelet, and my mom and Steven gave me my present when we were at our house. Once it was Conrad's turn he said that he forgot my birthday. HOW DO YOU FORGET MY BIRTHDAY THAT HAS BEEN THE SAME FOR 16 YEARS!!!

Taylor will be in town in a couple of hour!!! I am so excited, but she always makes things about herself and I just want to have my birthday to myself. This has to be short because Jere called me down.

It's been a little over a week and OMG so many things happened. When I got downstairs Jeremiah told me to grab the keys because he was going to teach me how to drive. When I grabbed them I also grabbed a box. I know I shouldn't have opened the box but I did. I am so glad i did. If I didn't listen to myself I wouldn't have found the infinity necklace. I KNOW Conrad got it for me. There was one summer where he couldn't stop telling me about numbers and how they were infinant because they never stop. Maybe he does like be back...

IT'S THE 4TH OF JULY. I am so excited. I love spending the 4th in Cousins Beach because Susannah goes all out and the fireworks in Cousins are amazing. Nicole, Shayla, and their friends are here as well. Also Cam is coming too. It's going to be a blast.
