Han, Jenny. The Complete Summer I Turned Pretty Trilogy. Simon & Schuster BFYR, 2010. I chose this genre because I like to see how the actual dates and events were. I chose May 29 because it was the first day back in Cousins Beach. Many important events went down that day. For example, the bonfire where Belly met Cam (Cameron). I chose June 17, 2021 because it was Belly's birthday. On that day Taylor (Belly's best friend) came into town to celebrate her. There was a dinner that night where many embarrassing things happened. I chose July 4 because there was a big celebration. There was also a lot of drama between Adam (Jeremiah and Conrad's dad) and Susannah. There was also more drama between Belly and Cameron. Belly got really drunk and started flirting with both Jeremiah and Conrad. Lastly, I chose August 17 because that was the day of the Debutante Ball. On this day Belly finally figures out which Fisher brother she truly loves. Also that night Belly, Steven, and Jeremiah figure out that Susannah has cancer again. Conrad already knew though.
May 29, 2021 -First day in Cousins Beach. Night of the bonfire. Met Cameron. The police came and everyone ran. The cops caught Belly, Conrad, Steven, and Jeremiah. Laural answered the door and gave the kids a lecture.
June 17, 2021 - Taylor (Belly's best friend) is at Cousins Beach for a week. It's Belly's birthday. Cameron and Taylor have a birthday dinner with the rest of the Conklin's and Fisher's. Steven and Jeremiah try to embarrasses them instead.
July 4, 2021 - Belly's dad and Conrad's dad are in town for the 4th of July. Adam (Conrad's dad) isn't supposed to be there because he cheated on Susannah. Conrad knew what had happened. Belly got really drunk and ran into Susannah who had the 4th of July cake. Conrad starts to show his feelings but backs away.
August 17, 2021 - Day of the Debutante Ball. Belly and Jeremiah go together. Steven goes with his girlfriend Shayla. All the girls and the boys get announced and head down to the ballroom. The final dance is about to start and Jeremiah is gone. Conrad takes Jeremiah's spot and Belly realizes that she never stopped loving Conrad. Jeremiah ran into the ballroom and punched Conrad while crying. Susannah hugged both boys while crying. Belly and Steven figure out Conrad has cancer.
